About The Hannah Peschar Sculpture Garden

This information is just a snapshot to get you intrigued – best to visit the website for full details!

The Hannah Peschar Sculpture Garden in Surrey is set in 10 acres (so allow about 90 minutes for a good look around) of what once a larger estate.

The gardens are now over 45 years old and have developed into areas with large leaved plants, tall grasses and several ponds.

The ever changing display of 200+ sculptures includes works from around the world including abstract, innovatively using contemporary metals, wire, glass, ceramics and plastics as well as the more traditional stone, wood and bronze.

There is also a new addition of an indoor gallery to display sculptures, ceramics and smaller pieces which are too delicate to be set outside.

One of the guests commented that ‘The garden is beautifully wild, lots of woodland walks, streams and waterways’ and another ‘Beautifully landscaped grounds and some excellent sculptures’.

It is worth noting that the ground can get muddy of it has been wet so bring suitable footwear!

Dogs are very welcome as long as they are on leads and cleaned up afterwards!

” I’ve always been interested in art – it rubs off on you, and then you find you can’t live without it.”
