Arley Arboretum & Gardens is, in their own words, ‘home to some of the most stunning gardens found anywhere in the UK‘.
There is plenty to see with various gardens, arboretum and the Garden Tea Room.
So what is there to see? Here are some highlights:
The Trees – There are lots of specials trees to be seen with perhaps my favourite the Giant Redwood – Wellingtonia (Sequoiadendron Giganteum)
The Walled Italian Garden – water features, formal planting, dovecote and a temple!
Magnolia Garden – best seen in Spring
Laburnum Arch – spectacular to walk through at 65m is the the longest in the UK
The Acers – a fine collection of Acers. Who doesn’t like an Acer??
Garden Tea Room – afternoon tea served as well as cakes, soup, biscuits and light bites – scrummy!
Dogs on leads are allowed in the gardens

“Gorgeous place. I am a powerchair user and pretty much all of the paths are wheelchair accessible, which has been proving hard of recent for me.
If you love nature and want to get out, I highly recommend this place.
The trees are beautiful, staff are friendly and cake and coffee were fantastic.
Really lovely. Went in the autumn. Beautiful trails and scenery. Places for children to play too.
Lovely tearoom. Had homemade soup. Delicious and would recommend.”
