About Bedminster Secret Gardens
Really Secret Gardens!
Bedminster Secret Gardens are an inspirational set of gardens in the terraced streets of Bristol.
Have you ever imagined what lies behind the doors in the rows of terraced houses? Well now is your chance to find out!
Over 25 gardens open their doors so you can enter a world of plants and see creative, productive and beautiful gardens. What fun!
In 2024 over 1,000 visitors entered this secret world and contributed £3000 for community gardening and environmental projects across BS3 (Bedminster, Southville and Ashton)
Note: Please do not take any cuttings!

Tickets
Tickets and Maps are available from the Riverside Garden Centre, The Southville Centre, Southville Deli on North Street and Windmill Hill City Farm.
They are also available from participating gardens on the day.
Not all gardens maybe open on both days. Check your map for information.

Plenty of refreshments are available at individual gardens. Check the guide.
Plant sales
Plant sales are available from some of the gardens.
Toilet Facilities
Toilets are available at Riverside Garden Centre, The Tobacco Factory bar (North Street) and ASDA (Bedminster Parade).
Accessibility
Yes some are but many are small and have uneven steps so check the map for which gardens are accessible.
Directions & Parking
There is no dedicated parking so use the local streets as possible. Or walk or cycle!
Photographs
Yes but as you have to pass through peoples houses to get to the gardens please do respect the owners privacy.
Dog Friendly
Dogs on leads are very welcome at some gardens. Check the paw signs on the map.
