About Belton Estate Garden

Belton Estate Garden is set in 1,300 acres of wildlife rich parklands with the mansion being a prime example of Restoration architecture.

The formal gardens are of a Dutch and Italian design with a conservatory and fountain and the Pleasure Gardens offering lakeside walks.

The walled garden with roses is just behind the Conservatory.

Get your phone or camera ready in the Pleasure Grounds for some great shots of the Bellmount Tower or wild deer – or both!

For children there is a large adventure playground set in the arboretum with miniature train rides. Ace!

And an indoor play area at the cafe. Great idea.

As well as the gardens and house there is a shop, cafe, plant shop and a second hand bookshop.

There are many events held throughout the year such as the deer trail and guided daffodil walk.

Dogs allowed in the gardens, parkland and cafe but assistance dogs only in play, mansion and other areas.

At Christmas the after-dark illuminated trail features a meadow of light and street food.
