About Blickling Estate & Gardens

Blickling Estate & Gardens sits in the wider 4,600 acre woodland and the gardens themselves are 55 acres including a parterre, lake and walled kitchen garden

Highlights of the garden include The Parterre, Temple, Orangery, Wilderness area and Walled Kitchen Garden.

There are plenty of activities and play areas for children both indoors and outdoors. And nature trails are marked out and you will find some lovely picnic areas.

As well as the house and gardens there is the cafe serving snacks, a second hand bookshop, a plant shop, shop selling gifts and a pub!!

And at Christmas they light up the gardens so you can walk through to the Farmyard to grab a mince pie.

Dogs are welcome in the parklands and other areas but not in the house or gardens.

There is also the RAF Oulton Museum on site so do go and see the museum and collection of the Royal Air Force Oulton.
