About Bowood House Gardens
Bowood House Gardens has some splendid features for you to enjoy from the Walled Garden to the Italianate Terrace Garden.
With over 100 acres of landscaped, by Capability Brown no less, there is plenty to see.
There are a number of hidden gems for you to find like the Cascade, Hermit’s Cave and the Doric Temple.
Follow the Tree Trail to the Pinetum/Arboretum for a number of top trees.
The Woodland Garden is only open for six weeks each year during the flowering season to show off the bluebells, azaleas, magnolias and rhododendrons.
The Adventure Playground is open to children under 12 years of age.
Bowood House is open for tours and there is a shop or you to visit. And maybe buy a few items!
There are some excellent options for refreshments from the Tree House Café with hot and cold sandwiches, soup and children’s lunch boxes.
The Stable is an ideal spot for afternoon tea and cakes. And ice cream.
And the Kiosk which is open during school holidays and weekends has ice creams and hot and cold drinks.
