About Brompton-by-Sawdon Open Gardens

Brompton-by-Sawdon Open Garden on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors have 15 gardens for you to visit and enjoy this year.

The image you can see below is from garden number 14, Kings Head Cottage.

And it is a Rambling Rose ‘Seagull’ growing over an Arch.

There is a Beck at the bottom and you can just see the waterfall which comes from the Millpond.

Hopefully there will be a small garden railway operating there!

The village is best known for William Wordsworth getting married there and has a lovely beck running through it.

There are refreshments served in the Village Hall from 1pm to 4pm and cream teas from 2pm to 4pm.

Dogs allowed on leads.
