Buckland Abbey is a Medieval Abbey converted into a Tudor house and has been home to Sir Francis Drake among others.

There is an Elizabethan garden, walled kitchen garden and wild garden areas all with views of the Abbey.

Check out the rose displays during the summer months in the various gardens.

You and your dog can stroll through the ancient woodlands and take in the amazing far reaching views of the Tamar valley.

Ox Yard Café

The Ox Yard Café serves tea and coffee, light lunches and sweet treats suitable for most dietary requirements.

On the menu there are freshly made sandwiches, sausage rolls, locally made ice cream and of course Devon cream teas. Gluten free and Vegan options available.

Hot food is served until 2.30pm. And when in season produce from the kitchen garden is sold in the Café.

Ox Yard art galleries and shops

There are a number of artists work to view and purchase including water colours, ceramics, wood carvings and silver jewellery.
