About Castle Hill Gardens

Castle Hill Gardens is a 50 are estate with year round attractions.

Highlights include the so called Ugly Bridge (it’s not ugly, it’s lovely!), Devons longest Camellia Hedge, the Millenium Garden and the Magnolia Wood.

Expect to see primroses, dafodills, rhododendrons and azaleas during the various seasons.

Children are encouraged to explore the grounds and can climb one of the oldest trees called the Tanglewood Tree.

There are lovely picnic spots in the woods and the Castle Hill Tearoom has homemade refreshments including cakes, cream teas, light lunches and hot and cold drinks.

There are events on throughout the year such as outdoor theatre performances, halloween trail and a charity dog show.
