About Chastleton Garden
Chastleton Garden is a National Trust property and the garden is divided into quiet separate space with the sense of seclusion aided by the high walls.
There is a good mix of the formal and informal with the Best Garden now restored to its original style with flower beds at the fore and at the best in summer.
There is a super croquet law where the rules were et and you can still play there!
The Wilderness Walk is a good stroll around the rest of the gardens and into the relatively new Kitchen Garden.
You can buy produce from the garden in the bookshop – when in season and available.
The Jacobean House is open the same as the gardens and you can explore the rooms including the v Room, Great Chamber, Long Gallery and the Old Kitchen.
You can normally get refreshments from the local church – great idea!
There is a second hand bookshop for you to browse and maybe buy something!
Dogs are allowed in the wider parkland a long as they are under control as there is livestock around.
