About Dartington Hall Gardens – An RHS Partner Garden
Dartington Hall Gardens is 26 acres which has been carefully landscaped to provide amazing views and highlight the champion trees and sculptures.
From the 1500 year old yew tree, Azalea Dell, Mediterranean Garden and 400 year old chestnuts to the Henry Moore Sculpture and the Silent Space there is something for everyone.
A map is included with your ticket to help guide you around the Dartington Estate.
And there is a activity trail for children with hidden paths – not just for children I say!
And a small play park.
There are Wheelchair friendly routes and a Tramper hire service – I would call ahead to check availability if required.
There are plenty of options for food and drink from the White Hart Pub & Restaurant, Green Table Cafe and another Cafe!
If you fancy a longer walk there are 800 acres of Estate grounds to cover with marked trails.
Allow a couple of hours to fully explore.
Dogs are allowed but there are some on lead only areas near livestock which makes sense.
A 30 minute walk will take you to the the Cider Press Centre – got to be tried!
And there are a number of shops to get gifts and generally nice things as a memento.
