About Florence Court Garden
Florence Court Garden is a National Trust property surrounded by park, gardens and woodland.
Florence Court is home to the ‘Mother of all Irish Yews‘ which is a 250 year old Yew Tree. You have to see it!
There is a superb 1930’s Kitchen Garden which is currently being restored with two glasshouses and fruit, vegetables and flowers produced year round.
And the Irish Apple Orchard has over 40 varieties of apples in it – scrummy!
For those who like a walk there are a number of marked trails, red and blue, for you to follow.
And for kids there is a Play Area with rope swings.
You can hire bikes from the visitor centre as well.
There are great views of Benaughlin mountain from the grounds and the thatched summer house.
As well as the garden there is a Cafe, Tea Shop, Coffee Shop and Bookstore.
And do check out the Old Forge where on a number of days each year you can experience blacksmithing demonstrations. Cool!
You can take a guided tour of the house from March to November.
