About Fountains Abbey Gardens

Fountains Abbey Gardens, also known as Studley Royal Water Garden, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

It is one of the best surviving examples of a Georgian water garden with canals, cascades, lakes and temples.

There is also the Studley Royal Deer Park for you to wander around with over 300 deer in the grounds.

Watch out for the Fountains by Floodlight illuminations and there is a large children’s play area as well.

It recommend you wear sturdy walking boots when visiting the gardens and parks.

Dogs are allowed in the grounds, shop and visitor restaurant. Keep on a short lead.
