About Glasgow Botanic Gardens
Glasgow Botanic Gardens are located in the West End of Glasgow so convenient to get to if you are staying locally.
And a real break from the hustle of the city!
Perhaps best for known for the magnificently restored domed glasshouse the Kibble Palace.
This is home to a superb collection of plants, ferns, carnivorous plants, a koi pond and sculptures.
Plants include roses in theh rose garden, herbs & dyes, an arboretum, orchids and begonias.
And there is a chuildrens garden too.
There are several marked trails for you and the family to follow including ones just for children.
And there are guided tours at 11am on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and an additional tour at 2pm on Thursdays.
Refreshments are avaiable at the Tearoom just north of Kibble Palace.
