About Glendurgan Garden

Glendurgan Garden benefits from having its own beach, called Durgan Beach. How cool is that!

As for the gardens there is a Maze, apple orchard, wildflower meadows and three valleys with sub-tropical plants.

There is a recreation of an old Schoolroom and as well as the garden there is a Tea Room and a second hand bookshop.

For children there is plenty to do with activities in the Apple Shed (leaf rubbing, sketching), going in the maze and a fun rope swing called the Giant’s Stride.

Dogs are allowed in the garden apart from the maze, orchard and Schoolroom.

“Beautiful hidden valley filled with a wonderful collection of trees and plants which guide you down a winding path to the waters of the Helford estuary.

A special feature is the intriguing maze that adds an element of verdant mystery to this atmospheric garden.”

“Great place for a family day out. Gardens have two routes: purple and red.

Purple is step free, easy with the pram. Red one isn’t overly challenging but does have some steps.

Great layout, lots of little areas to stop and admire and a lovely little pebble beach.”
