About Gooderstone Water Gardens
Gooderstone Water Gardens is a 6 acre water garden that was reopened in 2003 having been brought back to life by the original creators daughter.
Describing itself as a ‘unique attraction for all garden lovers, naturalists, artists and photographers – or those who simply want a restful break’ there is a lot to see and enjoy.
From the bamboo grove, scented arbour garden, rustic roundhouse, stumpery and bird hide.
The gardens change throughout the year with the native planting giving you something to see all year round.
There are trails to follow and plenty of benches to sit down an just take in the scenery.
The Tearoom which serves homemade cakes, may be closed during winter so do bring your own refreshments and have a picnic!
