About Greencombe Gardens
Greencombe Gardens describes itself as ‘It is its own world – once inside, you are somewhere else’.
Set overlooking the Bristol Channel and Porlock Bay this 3.5 acre plot is now an organic garden.
While the planting appears ‘natural’ all the plants have been carefully placed with Azaleas and Rhododendrons featuring.
There are four national collections in the gardens Erythronium (small mountain lilies), Polystichum (the thumbs-up fern), Vaccinium (Whortleberries) and Gaultheria (Berries for Bears).
This lovely woodland garden takes about 45 minutes to walk around following the occasionally narrow paths.
