About Ham House & Garden
Ham House & Garden are set in beautiful grounds in Surrey sitting on the banks of the River Thames.
There are a number of individual gardens including the Kitchen Garden which uses organic principles to grow their produce.
The Cherry Garden is lined with Yew trees and has an original 17th-century statues of Bacchus. Who as we all know was the Roman god of agriculture, wine and fertility!
If you want to get into a more tranquil area head to The Wilderness with its hedged compartments and paths leading to the Summerhouses.
And enjoy the planting in The Plats, large lawned areas with tulips, crocus and wildflowers.
As well as the gardens there is the Orangery Café which uses pproduce from the Kitchen Gardens and a Shop selling gifts, plants, garden accessories and sweets.
Explore the woodlands, wetlands and meadows surrounding Ham House. A real green haven in London!
And do have a roam around the 17th Century Stuart house. Lots to see in there!
Dogs on short leads are welcome in the garden, grounds and cafe.
