Ham Open Gardens returns on Sunday 17 May 2026, inviting visitors to explore over 20 private gardens around Ham Common.
Showcasing historic, contemporary, and community spaces, the event also features refreshments, church tours, live choir performances and family friendly activities.
Proceeds support local charities, making it a scenic and meaningful day out in South West London.

Opening Times: 12noon to 5pm
Admission Prices: Entry £12 in advance, £15 on the day – accompanied under 16’s go free

About Ham Open Gardens
Ham open gardens have 20 gardens for you to see in 2026, including some new ones!
From the contemporary to traditional styles it’s a lovely family day out.
There is a tour of the churchyard and architecture of St. Andrews Church.
And you will be pleased to know that refreshments with a BBQ, Pimms, beer and soft drinks are available in St. Andrew’s Church.
A lovely part of the event is that the choirs from The Russell School and Meadlands will be singing in St Andrews during the afternoon.
More traditional fare will be served at St. Thomas Aquinas Church Hall near the pond, including tea and homemade cakes – yummy!
All gardens are within walking distance of Ham common.
Proceeds of this years event will be shared between Homestart, Ham and Petersham SOS, the Ham and Petersham Association and Amenities Group.
Toilets are available at this garden event.
