About Hanbury Hall Gardens
Hanbury Hall Gardens is an old country retreat, William and Mary style, set in 400 acres of parkland.
The gardens consist of a walled garden, orangery and an orchard.
Watch out for wildlife like the chiff chaffs and treecreepers in Spring!
The Medicinal Walks, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 12.30pm and 2pm, are highly recommended.
As well as the gardens there is the Stables Café and the Courtyard Restaurant serving hot and cold food and beverages.
There is a second hand bookshop behnd the courtyard.
For children there is an adventure playground featuring a swing, a slide, climbers and wooden tipis.
There are three waymarked routes to follow for those wanting to stretch their legs.
Dogs on leads are welcome in the parkland, courtyard and Stables Café.
There are many events for all the family taking place throughout the year.
And of course the hall is open for a visit with painting and ceramics a big feature.
