About Henstead Exotic Garden

The garden itself is just about 10 years old having been created by the owner Andrew and developed a he aquired additional plots of land.

Now at two acres it is a fully planned exotic garden with some very big plants despite its relatively young age.

The garden is described as ‘a Cornish style garden on the East Coast in Suffolk’.

You may well have seen the garden feature on TV on Gardeners World and Alan Titchmarsh’s Sunday Brunch where is was named a Britain Best Garden.

Expect to see bamboo, ferns, palms, tropical plants, fish – just like being in a Jungle!

You can get refreshments including cakes from the Hut and there are some plant sales as well from the Nursery open most of the time.

Group visit can be arranged just contact the owner.
