About Hoveton Hall Gardens
Hoveton Hall Gardens is actually a number of garden rooms creating plety of interest for you to enjoy.
The intriguingly named Spider Garden is actually a walled garden with a wrought iron spider gate dating back to 1936.
While the one acre Old Kitchen Garden was a Victorian Kitchen Garden which still produces fruit for use by the Hall.
The Glass House is one of only four in the UK still using iron for its construction and contains planting that would originally have been used when first built.
Take a Woodland Walk around Ashmanhaugh Wood where you may be able to spot the elusive White Admiral butterfly and over 100 species of birds.
The Magnolia Garden and Lake offers some lovely walks and you can take in the Ice Well before arriving at the Water Gardens including the Kidney Lake.
Finally enjoy the relatively newly planted, 2004, Arboretum with its 200 specimen trees.
The Garden Kitchen Café is a ‘beautiful, quirky and comfortable licensed cafe/restaurant’. Sounds great and is highly rated!
