About Howick Hall Gardens & Arboretum
Howick Hall Gardens & Arboretum has some super gardens and of course the arboretum.
The gardens include features such as the Bog Garden, Sensory Garden, Rockery and the Silverwood Woodland Garden.
The Arboretum covers 65 acres and has 11,000 trees and shrubs planted and you can walk down to the coast.
There are marked routes of varying lengths and with two thrrds of the plants labelled you will be able to identify many of the species.
Some of the arboretum is not really accessible by wheelchair and a full accessibility guide is available
The Earl Grey Tea House is only open to those with admission tickets and offers refreshments both indoors and oustide.
The Hall Ground floor is open to visitors and the Visitor Centre has information on the history of the hall and gardens.
