About Hutton-in-the-Forest Gardens
Hutton-in-the-Forest Gardens surround the house and follow the same design as laid down in the early 1700’s!
They are split into broadly four areas.
The Walled Garden with roses, bulbs, plants apple and pear trees.
Terraces and Topiary reflecting the arts and crafts revival.
Low Garden and Ponds with cascades, pons and lake.
The Woodland Walk mixed aged woods styled as a medieval forest now packed with wildlife of birds, roe deer and red squirrels.
And as well as the gardens there is The Cloisters Tearoom for refreshments. Only open when the house is open.
Dogs are welcome on leads
You will also be able to tour the House but it has more limited opening times.
