From Tuesday – Sunday – 10am – 3:30pm, arrive at 2pm to allow time to see the whole garden as gardens close at 3.30pm

About Longstock Water Gardens
Longstock Water Gardens are part of the Leckford Estate which is owned by John Lewis. Yes, that John Lewis.
So fittingly they have been named as “The finest water garden in the world” by the International Waterlily & Water Gardening Society.
Set in six acres with plentiful wildlife it is perfect for bird watchers and animal lovers alike and for those who just like to wander through woodlands and enjoy water features.
The water garden actually connects the two island and woodland valleys of Longstock and Leckford.
While refreshments aren’t available on site if you pop a mile up the road to the farm shop and cafe and have breakfast, lunch and cakes. All in one go if you fancy it!
Assistance dogs only are allowed in the gardens.

” The water gardens comprise several large interlinked ponds formed in old gravel pits. The ponds have a water supply from the nearby river (Test?) and have an abundance of water lilies”
” A really pretty place to visit- so peaceful and calm. We spent about an hour and half wandering round, walking over the little bridges to explore the mini islands. They’re a nursery, farm shop and cafe a short drive away.”
