About Malleny Garden

Malleny Garden describes itself as a ‘tranquil oasis on the outskirts of Edinburgh, where heritage roses sit alongside 400-year-old yew trees‘.

Malleny is a perfect spot to relax and unwind on the many benches and take in the sights and smells of the varied shrubs, trees and flowers.

Some of these include roses, lavender and philadelphus in the summer.

From the walled garden you can get close to the 400 year old Yew trees and take in the Victorian greenhouses and 150 varieties of roses!

Parking can be a bit tricky but dont let that put you off!

Dogs policy

Assistance dogs only in the walled garden but all dogs are allowed in the wider park.
