About Markshall Gardens & Arboretum
Marks Hall Gardens & Arboretum is set in over 200 acres of doggy friendly parklands.
Key features to look out for on your visit include The Arboretum, the Walled Garden, The Lakes and Woodland Walks.
The Arboretum walk takes you trough trees and plants from around the world including Gondwanaland!
For kids there is the Wild Wood and Chesnut Chase trail with dens and seesaws.
As well as the gardens there is Mrs Salisbury’s Famous Tea Rooms serving hot and cold drinks, lunches, homemade cakes and cream teas.
You can pick up plants for sale and there is a picnic area if you want to go al fresco!
Dogs policy
Assistance dogs only in the Walled Garden and Orchard Kitchen but all dogs are allowed in the Arboretum & wider park.

“Recently l visited here and l had a nice time exploring the gardens and woodlands of Markhall.
I found a good cafe on site, as well as a gift shop and plenty of toilets.”
“Lovely experience. Staff very friendly, gardens are a delight.
Feeding the fish and the geese and babies was a pleasure.
Lovely picnic area, walled garden, arboretum and lakes.
Lots of benches scattered around.
Then back to Mrs Salisburys for refreshments.
All in all, good value for money, well worth a visit.”
