About the Ness Botanic Gardens

Ness Botanic Gardens are part of the Liverpool University and cover 64 acres with views across the River Dee and into North Wales.

You will have lots of differing areas to discover such as the Rock Garden, Water Garden, Terraces, Mediterranean Garden, Wildflower Meadow and Rhododendron Border.

For refreshments there is the excellent Botanic Kitchen Cafe and The Visitor Centre and Dovecote at Ness sells locally made goods and plants.

Ness Botanic Gardens also encourage you to bring a picnic. No BBQs though!

Only assistance dogs in the gardens but the cafe has a dog friendly patio area.
