Newstead Abbey Gardens, former home of the famous Lord Byron, is set in 300 acres of park with the River Leen feeding the many lakes and water cascades.
There are walled gardens, a Fort and 16 distinct oases with themed gardens including a Japanese Garden, spread throughout the grounds.
There are trails for children and play areas as well.
And an onsite cafe for takeaway food and drink with seats outside and a shop.
Dogs on leads are allowed in the parks and gardens.
