About Osborne House Gardens
Osborne House Gardens (originally Queen Victoria and Prince Albert’s family home) are blessed with a mid Mediterranean climate so expect a riot of colour from all year round.
Renovated in 2016/17 there is a walled garden, parkland, Italianate terraces, fountains, Camellias and Magnolias approaching 170 years old!
Look out for the Swiss Cottage in the grounds which is now a museum surrounded by vegetable plots and there is a wildlife trail down to the beach!
There are plenty of options to eat at Osborne House including the Terrace Restaurant and Orangery, a Cafe in the Petty Officers’ Quarters, next door to the gift shop. Ice cream or coffee available at the Beach Pavilion Ice-Cream Parlour.
Dogs on leads welcome in the grounds but only assistance dogs in the House, Swiss Cottage and Beach.
