About Rodmarton Manor & Gardens
Rodmarton Manor & Gardens is a classic Cotswold garden set in 8 acres and designed by Ernest Barnsley.
The gardens are really a series of rooms which go from the more formal architectural style near the house to informal farmland away from the house.
The rooms consist of a rockery, kitchen garden, terrace, lawns, topiary and walled garden.
You can expect to see snowdrops in Spring and bulbs, herbaceous planting and roses.
The gardens are designed to attract butterflies, bees and wildlife.
The Manor House is designed in the Arts & Crafts style and you can pay extra for a group guided tour – £18pp including garden access.
Dogs policy at Rodmarton Manor & Gardens

Don’t take our word for how genuinely super these gardens are. Here is what visitors to Rodmarton Manor & Gardens had to say:
“Worth a visit just to see the magical topiary. The garden embraces the landscape beyond and surrounds the house with some very formal spaces.
It’s a very controlled garden but very much reflects the era the house was built.”
“The manor was beautiful, and the gardens were brilliant as well. Loved all the flowers.
The cafe was great, and the apple juice was delicious. It’s made with the apples from the kitchen garden.”
“Beautiful country house in the Cotswolds unlike any other.
A perfect place for Arts & Crafts fan – architecture and furniture. A real gem.”
