About the SanGen Japanese Garden
The SanGen Japanese Garden is the work of Brian the owner who over the last 25 years has transformed a car park into the amazing garden you see here.
Located in the usually leafy Barnes and backing onto the excellent London Wetland Centre it is a wonderful garden for you to visit as part of the Barens Open Garden event.
Designed around a Japanese fable involving turtles and gods you can expect to see ponds, bonsai trees, water features, bridge and lots of impressive symbolic stones.
The garden extends to about an acre and due to the nature of the agrdens are not really suited to under 10’s.
For more pictures have a look on their Instagram account here or check out a very interesting video here.
