About Scampston Hall & Walled Gardens

Scampston Hall & Walled Gardens is a contemporary garden set within 18th Century walls. And it looks spectacular!

Designed by renowned Dutch designer Piet Oudolf it features modern planting alongside more traditional areas.

A garden guide is available on arrival to help you navigate and understand the gardens.

The wider grounds have trails for you and your dog!

The Pantry Cafe & Kitchen offers a selection of snacks and beverages to help fortify you after a walk around the gardens.

These are open to everyone if you just want to pop in. No charge!

You can also buy plants at the Nursery and the Shop offers a range of gifts. Splendid!

Dogs are allowed in some parts of the estate and cafe but not the house or walled garden.

” Beautiful walled gardens even on a wet day!!

The garden has been beautifully designed and the colour scheme was very complementary!

There are trails in the wider parkland area and around the Hall. Lunch was great with plenty of seats, choices and quick service.”
 
” It was nice too look around the gardens, it is extremely well kept, they have some gorgeous flowers plants and fantastic trees.

There is also a nice little Cafe when you walk in, lovely to have a drink and a little food.”
