Sheldwich is a typical small English village in a picturesque area of outstanding natural beauty with a village green where cricket has been played for many years.
A wide range of gardens will be open to visitors – from the spectacular garden of the Grade 1 listed Lees Court to an array of very varied and beautiful gardens, each in their own charming surroundings.
All of the gardens are within easy reach with some near the village hall and others accessible via the attractive footpaths and bridleways or by a short drive.
Visit the Grade 2* listed St. James’s Church, Sheldwich. The Grade 2* listed St. Leonard’s Church along Dayton Road, is also open.
Both can be accessed via footpaths or a short drive.
Enjoy a delicious tea and cake in the village hall, and relax in the peaceful surroundings.
