About Sledmere House & Garden

Sledmere House & Garden has a lot to offer for visitors.

From the walled garden, adventure play area, circular walk, rare breed farm, museum and stable block.

The walled garden has several unique areas such as the Angel Garden with soft colours. Lark Ascending area in a contemporary style and the Reflection Garden with darker muted colours. Interesting.

There is a cracking adventure play area for the children in a safe environment with a zip wire, tree house, slide, scramble nets, basket swing and more!

For those wanting to stretch their legs try the circular walk which takes you around the perimeter of the Deer Park and then through it.

The rare breed farm as a fine selection of animals to see including sheep, chickens, ducks, pigs, guinea pigs, rabbits and Shetland pony’s!

There is a cafe, farm shop and garden gift shop.

Dogs are allowed in the gardens on shorts leads.

They are not allowed in the cafe, farm shop, house or children’s play area.
