About Speke Hall Garden
Speke Hall Garden is run by the National Trust and has a number of featured areas in the gardens.
The best known is perhaps the Kitchen Garden which you can buy produce from when in season.
The Secret Garden is accessible by a tunnel and path and is home to wildlife, snowdrops and the rare Wollemi Pine or ‘Dinosaur Tree‘.
There are a number of lawns, an old moat, topiary, endless snowdrops and crocuses.
If you explore the wider grounds there are great views to be had of the Hall an John Lennon Airport!
And you can access the Speke and Garston Coastal Reserve which is a wildlife and aviation history!
The Hall itself is a Tudor Manor with a Priest Hole and some fancy William Morris wallpaper.
For the kids there is a gated play area, woodland trail called the Giant Childe of Hale and a hedge maze!
As well as the Hall, Garden and Grounds there is a Restaurant serving hot and cold food and drink.
There is a Tea Room also open on busy days.
And the second hand bookshop is always worth a visit and browse!

Accessibility at Speke Hall Garden
Speke Hall Garden is mostly accessible with some steep hills.
The second floor of the Hall is only accesible via stairs.
Dogs at Speke Hall Garden
Assistance dogs only are allowed into Speke Hall.
Dogs on leads are allowed in most of the grounds except the kitchen garden, play area, maze and Giant Childe of Hale trail.
