About St Marys House & Gardens

St Marys House & Gardens has been restored over the last 40 years or so by the owners Roger Linton and his partner Peter Thorogood who sadly passed away in 2025.

There are a number of garden rooms for you to see as you wander through the five acres from the South Garden, Glasshouse, Terracotta Garden, Kings Garden, Rose Garden, Topiary Garden, Water Garden and a Secret Garden with Pineapple Pits.

The house can also be seen with many rooms open including the Octagon Dining Room, Kings Room, Music Room and Monks Parlour

As well as the house and gardens there is a Tearoom for refreshments which is open Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 4pm.

Assistance dogs are allowed in the gardens & house but are fine in the Tearoom where there is a small garden.
