Don’t take our word for how special these gardens and nursery are. Here is what visitors to Stillingfleet Lodge Gardens had to say:
“Lovely little garden on four acres developed from a small holding and still run by the owners themselves
– wildlife pond, meadow, rill garden, avenue, shady garden, pear garden, all with lovely native wildflowers and some more unusual ones…
scent of roses, lilac and blossom and loved seeing the hens, bantams and guinea fowl in the nursery beds.
Nice tea room selling hot:cold drinks with cakes and ice cream along wi the some locally made jams, oils, pottery and art prints.”
“We had a lovely visit to the gardens. Very peaceful and relaxing, listening to the birds singing.
Popped into the cafe, tasty home cakes, including gluten free and a vegan option.
I liked that you could see the plants in the gardens and then buy some of them from the nursery. Staff were friendly and helpful.”
