The Stone Lane Gardens are set in 5 acres on the edge of Dartmoor National Park and became an RHS Partner Garden in 2019.
The gardens are well known for their conservation work, annual sculpture exhibition and their collection of Birch and Alder trees.
You can support them by purchasing plants and trees from their nursery.
Walk through the gardens taking in the ponds, bridges, herbaceous plantings, wildflower meadows and later in the year toadstools.
Some of the rarer plants that can be seen include Primula pulverulenta– Candelabra Primula, Gunnera x cryptica (giant rhubarb!), Helleborus orientalis. Oriental Hellebore and Erythronium ‘Pagoda’. Dog’s tooth violet.
Keep your eyes open for events and music festivals throughout the summer months.
And don’t forget to get a Devon cream tea from the The Stone Lane Gardens Tea Room & Tea Garden!
