About Stoneywell Garden

Stoneywell Garden is set in the grounds of an entire rare surviving Arts & Crafts home.

The gardens are 4 acres of all year round colour with an 11 acre woodland to explore as well.

The best time to viist is Spring with daffodils, bluebells and 150 varieties of rhododendrons on display.

Take some time to see what is growing in the Kitchen Gardenand you get superb views from the Fort.

You can take a self guided tour of the cottage or join a tour given by a guide.

Choose when you arrive at the cottage!

As well as the gardens there is a small but lovely tearoom with a second hand bookstore as well.

And take a picnic on the old tennis court!
