About Sulgrave Manor & Garden
Sulgrave Manor & Garden aw home to the direct ancestors of George Washington.
You will find information on him and families who have lived here.
The current garden was designed in 1900 by Sir Reginald Blomfield and in it you will find Yew Trees, Topiary Peacocks and garden rooms.
A popular addition wa the Rock Garden with associated Apline planting.
The Tudor Villagers Garden has historic vegetables and herbs and the Orchard has heritage fruit trees.
There is a Silent Space for some quiet contemplation and to enjoy the views.
Children can enjoy the play area and there are often events taking place.
And there is seating and benches in the Paddock.
In the Manor House you can see the George Washington Exhibition and get hands on in the Kitchen!
There is a Gift Shop, a second hand bookshop and the The Brewhouse offers teas, coffee, cake and ice cream.
Private Tours can be arranged as well.
