And the Blackwater bookshop is open when the main property is open so check before you visit!

There is a pop up shop ‘The Coach House Collective’s’ which supports local artists.

For children, and adults, there is a natural play area with balance bikes available at the visitors reception.

Quite uniquley there is the  ‘The Light Box’ which shows the hsitory of light and children can create neon lights – how cools is that?

Visitor Reviews of The Argory Garden

Google Visitor Review Score 4.7 Stars

Don’t take our word for how genuinely super these gardens are. Here is what visitors to The Argory Garden had to say:

“Lovely house and grounds. Great play park and walks.

The holiday activities were a great addition to go around the grounds and find the clues.

The cafe was good and the second hand bookshop meant we came away with books as well.”

“Beautiful gardens and walks. Holiday trails eg for Easter for kids

Lime tree walk is a lovely shorter walk giving lots to see and ending by the coffee shop!”

“Some great walks to be had especially alongside the river Blackwater.

A nice place to take a picnic and watch the fisherfolk and the boaters.”
