About The Oregon Garden
The Oregon Garden is actually 20 distinct gardens set in 80 aces of the Pacific Northwest.
Some of the speciality gardens you can see include Sensory Garden, Children’s Garden, Pet Garden, Conifer Garden, Medicinal Garden, Home Demo Garden (what a great idea!) and a Rose Garden, Water Garden and a Northwest Garden.
There are aimed to educate and inspire as well as enjoyed.
Also, key features include a 400 year old oak tree, just getting started really!
And the poignant Hiroshima Peace Tree, a gingko descended from trees that survived the 1945 bombing of Hiroshima, Japan.
As well as the gardens the Visitor Center has a Gift Shop, a Retail Nursery and Grab and Go Snacks.
Don’t forget there is the narrated tram tour which runs from April to October!
Dogs on short leads (no more than 8′) are allowed in the gardens.
