About Trerice Garden
A National Trust property Trerice Garden is a super wee garden set around the Elizabethan house with a Knot Garden and Cornish Kayling lawn, a game like skittles.
There is also an Apple Orchard, Potager and a Summerhouse to shelter from any passing rain clouds.
The lawn is an ideal spot to take a picnic and there are games around to play for the kids, and adults!
The Mowhay field is open in summer months and is a haven for wildlife including hedgehogs.
As well as the house and garden you can get refreshments at the Barn Cafe and there is a second hand bookshop and a shop.
Watch out for lots of events like Falconry and Archery.

Don’t take our word for how genuinely super these gardens are. Here is what visitors to Trerice Garden had to say:
“Really pretty house and gardens. Lovely, well informed people throughout the house to answer any questions you may have.”
“The gardens are well maintained and give to a good 360 view of the house.
There’s a bit of walking up and down so if you are less mobile this may be a challenge.”
“The garden was great to walk around too.“
