About Warwick Castle Gardens
Warwick Castle Gardens are set in the 64 acres of grounds at Warwick Castle, so plenty of exploring to be done!
There are a number of featured areas in the gardens like the Peacock Garden, with its free roaming Peacocks!
Or the Pageant Field where jousting used to take place and the East Front mound or walk to the River Island for the full scale Trebuchet – catapult to you and me!
As well as the gardens there is plenty to see and do from tours of the Castle Great Hall, scale Guy’s Tower, walk through the preparations for a battle and discover the inner workings at the Mill and Engine House.
You can get refreshments at a number of lace like The Conservatory Teahouse which is great for Afternoon Tea, the Undercroft Cafe and Courtyard including fish and chips!
There are lots of events taking place from the Castle Dungeon (book separately), horrible histories Maze, Zog Playland and the birds of Prey.
And teh always popular Christmas Illuminations and Halloween Haunted Castle!
Accessibility at Warwick Castle
The gardens are mostly accessible to wheelchair users but the Barbican is cobbled and the River Island is steep. Full details here
