About Wynyard Hall Gardens
Wynyard Hall Gardens were established in 1822 and were restored from 1987 by the late Sir John Hall.
The gardens are actually a series of individual gardens including a Rose Garden, Italian Garden, Kitchen Garden, Arboretum and Woodland Walk.
And a must see are the roses with 3000 David Austin Roses, many late blooming into September and October.
Wildlife is plentiful with deer, squirrels, heron, butterflies and bees that provide honey for the estate!
Watch out for various monuments, graves and points of interest including Roman and Greek temples, Goshawks Grave and the Ratisborn Gates!
There is a Farmshop and the Cafe uses produce from the Kitchen Garden.
