About Low Row Open Gardens
Gardens at a different level
The main feature of these Swaledale gardens is the different levels that are used and the flowers that thrive in the local conditions.
This is in keeping with the way the houses are often built into the side of the hills resulting in stepped garden beds.
Most gardens are within 10 minutes walk of the Low Row Institute.
A couple of gardens are further out and can take 20 minutes to walk to.
But you can drive to those gardens if you would like to do so.
There will also be plant sales in the village hall and a couple of craft stalls for you as well!
And best of all there is tea, coffee, soft drinks, cakes and savoury snacks served all day in the hall.
Toilets are available at the Low Row Institute including disabled facilities.
All proceeds go to the Low Row Institute and Sustainable Swaledale
Information also available on the Facebook page.
