About Anglesey Abbey Garden
Anglesey Abbey Gardens were specifically created to be a ‘garden for all seasons‘.
So no matter when you go there will be something for you to see and enjoy.
There are a number of features to look out for inlcuding the tree lined avenue, sculptures, statues, formal gardens and the Dahlia Garden.
The Rose Garden is at its best in summer from June to October with over 60 varients on display.
Lode Mill is a watermill ready to be explored and understand the history and the Jacobean House is a step back in time from a Monastic Abbey to a 20th Century home.
For the kids there is the woodland play area and den building facility.
And there are a number of well marked trails including dog ones as they are allowed in the wider areas.
As well as the gardens there is a Shop, the Redwoods Restaurant, Bookshop and Plant Shop.
Dogs policy at Anglesey Abbey Garden
Assistance dogs only in the gardens and house but dogs are allowed in the wider grounds and an outside area of the Redwood Cafe.

Don’t take our word for how genuinely super these gardens are. Here is what visitors to Anglesey Abbey Garden had to say:
“Awesome place to visit for family!
You have playgrounds, walks, old mills, plenty of trees and bushes.
We really enjoyed the walk to the mill“
“Lovely grounds and gardens. The house has a wonderful almost ‘lived in’ feel, like the owner just stepped out.
Grounds are quite extensive and mostly open to the public.”
“Lovely House & gardens and amazing trees worth going on a garden tour, very knowledgeable!
Enjoyed our day immensely.
Quite large but accessible, kids woodland play area as well!”
