About Arundells Garden

Arundells Garden is a peaceful haven extending to about two acres with a lovely selection of trees from Mulberry and Magnolia to Yew and Birch.

Highlights include the views of Salisbury Cathedral and the meeting of the rivers Avon and Nadder.

There are lots of places to explore and you may well happen across a Victorian sculpture of a girl holding a bowl and the bow of a racing yacht the Morning Cloud.

This house was the former residence of Sir Edward Heath, former Prime Minsister.

Bring a picnic to take on one of the lawns and for children there are treasure hunt sheets and goodie bag prizes at the end of your visit!

You can take a guided tours of the House (about £15) on each Tuesday on the hour from 10am to 3pm.

And of course you can self guide through the House rooms and take in the extensive collections varying from Chinese Wallpaper, Ceramics, Music, Books, Works of Art and Sculptures of a number of scale model yachts.
