Ashwell Open Gardens 2026 features around 20 gardens as part of the Ashwell at Home festival, celebrating partnerships between local farmers and the village.
Visitors can enjoy pop-up performers, live music, street food, exhibitions, local art and refreshments.
Proceeds support community causes including the village museum, school and St. Mary’s Church.
Set in a scenic Hertfordshire village, the event also includes plant sales and a large stall near the car park.

Opening Times: 11am to 5pm
Admission Prices: £10 per person on the day, £8 in advance, accompanied under 18’s free entry

About Ashwell Open Gardens
Ashwell Open Gardens has approximately 20 gardens for you to enjoy in 2026.
As part if the Ashwell at Home festival with the theme this year being the partnership between local farmers and the village.
Watch out for pop up performers in the gardens – each year is different!
Events include live music, street food & drinks, tea and cake, Museum exhibition, local artists and much more.
Refreshment are available from stalls, gardens and village tearooms.
All proceeds go to the village museum, the local school and St. Mary’s Church.
There is a large plant stall at Dixie’s Barns near to the car park and some of the open gardens will be selling plants.
